Organic Mahogany Frame, Offset Crossing Stretchers & Performance Fabric
Part of Bernhardt's sculptural Brasea collection, this bench reinterprets traditional bench seating through a contemporary architectural lens. The base is crafted from solid organic mahogany, celebrated for its natural strength, fine-grained texture, and enduring stability. Finished in luminous Lume, the framework highlights contrasting grain patterns and clean angular profiles. The low stretchers are intentionally offset to intersect at one side, creating an intriguing visual statement that catches the eye from every perspective. Perched atop the wood foundation, the cushioned seat features rounded corners tailored in high-performance fabric B173, offering reliable stain resistance and effortless cleanability for high-traffic living spaces. Wood & Performance Fabric Care Instructions
Mahogany Wood Care: Remove dust regularly using a soft, dry microfiber cloth. When dusting or wiping, follow the natural grain direction of the timber. Clean any smudging with a soft, slightly dampened cloth followed immediately by drying with a soft, dry cloth. Never let liquids stand on the wood surface. Avoid harsh chemicals, ammonia, or silicone-based polishes.
Performance Fabric Maintenance: Vacuum the upholstered seat weekly with a soft brush attachment. In the event of a spill, immediately blot the liquid with a clean, dry white cloth. Performance fabric B173 resists moisture penetration, allowing most household spots to be treated with mild soap and warm water.
